What would a pirate be without a sword and a gun? There are three types of firearms to choose from: a pistol, shotgun and a sniper. They all have five cartridges, but we can only have one of them with each other. The second slot is occupied by a sword, which in addition to the attack also allows you to block the opponent’s thrusts and cuts.

After creating the character and selecting the ship, we get a full equipment. The type and size of the ship depends on whether we choose to swim alone or with friends. You can choose Slope, a small, single-sided boat that you can use alone or with other player. The second ship is Galeon, a large boat, served by four people.The action of the game was set in an open world, after which we can move freely, both on foot and by ships. Sea of Thieves gameplay does not place any specific goal on the participants. This translates into a rather interesting mechanism of the game: each opponent will be the same challenge for us. On the other hand – many players will reject the lack of concrete progress, because nicer clothes will not be enough for them. The most important aspect of the game is sailing. We can move between the islands only using our ship. Sailing, especially in four people, is a lot of fun. The helmsman must be able to keep the ship in check, but in order not to crash on the rocks, a navigator is needed on the stork’s nest. It is also good to have someone caring about cannons, possible hull patching and a navigator who is careful not to stray from the chosen course. A huge map of the region (where we see our ship and all the islands) is used for navigation. To find our destination, we need to recognize the island from a small map in our pocket on a large map of the region.
Crack Sea of Thieves – missions and tasks
The adventures we can choose have been divided into three groups. In searching for a treasure, we get a map of the unnamed island with the marked “X” where a treasure or a rhymed riddle was buried. We can also deliver a specific number of animals to the indicated place within a specified time – the buyer will give us the traps, and our task will be to catch the indicated animals and deliver them to the port. There is also a headhunters adventure – by choosing this kind of mission, we will receive a warrant letter, on which the name of the island will be written We must find a skull and deliver it to the port. On the islands we can also find letters in bottles, and over the forts there are still clouds in the shape of skulls, meaning that the skeletons occupied this fort. The mission selection itself has been very well solved. In the captain’s cabin there is a table, on which we throw a card with a mission. To successfully select it, the majority of the crew must vote for it. Sea of Thieves developers put on an invisible interface, which was a ver good choice. For the most part of the game, the only thing we see is our life bar and the number of bullets in the weapon after it is selected. To navigate the world, we have to use compasses, which are part of each pirate’s equipment and are built (next to the helm) on our ship. The only map of the world that is available is the one in the captain’s cabin.

Sea of Thieves battles are as unpredictable as the sea, after which we will sail. Our journeys rarely go according to the plan established from the beginning and are influenced by a number of factors – ranging from variable weather (storms can be very dangerous), and on skirmishes with other players ending. The creators, however, managed to properly balance the network game, thanks to which we get to the competitive crew often enough to make it exciting, but at the same time so rare that we do not feel the breath of danger on the back. Sea battles with enemy crews are one of the most exciting elements of Sea of Thieves. This is primarily due to how this game is constructed. Everything is done manually here, and the perfect cooperation of the entire crew is required for effective operation. It’s easy to get lost in a battle, but when we start working with companions, we will start to feel enormous satisfaction, especially when we can finally sink our opponents. However, problems arise when we go alone to the sea. Then it is best to avoid conflicts and run away from enemy ships, because our chances of success against a full crew are really small. The gameplay itself is surprisingly pleasant and exceptionally relaxing. The lack of other crew members means that we can do everything with our own pace, without hurry or pressure.
